Angerona prunaria (Linnaeus, 1758)

A rather common species throughout Belgium.

The larva lives on various deciduous trees and also on lower plants. Hibernates as young larva on the foodplant and pupates between spun leaves.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from late May till end July. They come to light.
