Aplocera efformata (Guenée, 1857)

A not so common species throughout Belgium.

The larva lives on Hypericum perforatum. Hibernates as larva and pupates underground.

The adults fly in two, sometimes three generations a year from early May till late September, sometimes till well into October. They are active from dusk onwards and later come to light.
